I live in Duluth, Minnesota, the city of my birth and the city I love. I’ve traveled a lot and lived many other places during a former life as an army wife, but nothing says “home” quite like Duluth. I live in a house that’s more than 100 years old, with my sweet cats, Sam and Penelope; I’ve been divorced for many years, I eat all the wrong stuff and don’t get nearly enough exercise, and I enjoy cooking for friends or simply spending time with them. Though they were designed and developed in Minnesota, I do not trust Post-It Notes.

My dearest sister, Terrific job! I wish you well on your new adventure. I think you will have a lot ot write about. You are usually the “go to” person when the sisters and neices and nephew need you. Homework (writting of course), invitations, photos, phrases, you name it, you wear that hat. I know you have been looking forward to this for a long time. My wish list for you because of your great memory and journal keeping:
Saturday lunches (must be going on 25 years for sure), Oneota Street, rummage sale finds and that dreaded word, retirement. I wish you well, I look forward to more blog stuff! Love Be

I doubt you will have trouble finding material for this blog. Daily life around your way seems to provide you with lots of stories. Eg. I do like the whisk broom in the next post. That is my life also. Besides watches disappearing, public clocks have all but disappeared along with pay phones.
